Meyers Motors Peugeot Crowns Miss KSD 2020/2021

Miss KSD (King Sabata Dalindyebo) 2020/2021 was hosted on Saturday, 21 November 2020 at BT Ngebs Mall. This event is a Young Women Development Pageant, an educational programme aimed at promoting moral regeneration, patriotism, culture and leadership development of young women.

The official Miss KSD Young Women Development Pageant was started in 2007. The Pageant is not only about physical beauty, but also mainly involves intellect, social responsibility programmes, cultural awareness, promotion of education, moral regeneration, prevention of early or teenage pregnancy, economic empowerment and leadership development.

Meyers Motors Peugeot is a proud sponsor and congratulations this years winners:

• Miss KSD 2020/21 Hlumela Ndayi who is a Medical Sciences Student from Ikwezi Extension in Ward 3
• 2nd Princes is Okuhle Silizukise Phongomile, Nursing Science Student from Futye Location in Mqanduli Ward 21.
• 1st Princess is Pretty Mqolweni is currently studying Honors Degree in Animal Science from Ikhwezi Township in Ward 1,

The winner, Miss KSD walked away with a R10 000 cash prize sponsored by Meyers Motors Peugeot, a tuition bursary from KSD Municipality, a Laptop from Xerox, tablet and smartphone from Vodacom and a sweater from Lira Design. Meyers Motors Peugeot will be actively involved with Miss Hlumela's community projects.

The second 2nd prize winner was awarded a R5 000 sponsorship towards a Learners and Drivers licence from Meyers Motors Peugeot. We believe that this sponsorship will assist Okuhle with her future endevours. She also walked away with various other prizes from sponsors.
