Having made history as the first woman to win the Golden Globe Solo non-stop around the world yacht race in 2022, Kirsten Neuschäfer accepted an invitation from Fran Smith, event organisor to speak at a local fundraising event for The Kings Childrens Home.
Subaru East London partnered with Neuschäfer during her visit as she enjoyed the use of Subaru's Compact Crossover, The Crosstrek. Equipped with the best safety features and all wheel drive, she was able to journey around the East Coast during her short visit.

About the Golden Globe Race: Neuschäfer alongside 15 other competitors - all men - set off from Les Sables- d'olonne in France on the 48000km solo race on September 4 2021. She sailed for 235 days around the five great capes and glided over the finish line first in France.
About the Charity: The Kings Childrens Home cares for over 50 children with no government funding. The centre is currently filled to capacity and the funds raised will assist them to continue providing a safe and happy environment. We thank our clients and community for supporting this event.
